Whether you're new to auditioning or booking inconsistently, this 6-week course gives you repeatable tools for preparation and performance under pressure. Week 2: Working dramatic tension. How to build and sustain tension in a scene. Week 3: Technicals. Procedurals, workplace jargon, movement, eyelines, tone, and genre requirements. Week 4: Utility scenes. Day players, small characters, and one-liners — how to make them count. Week 5: How to take a note from a director. Adjusting and redirecting in real time. Week 6: Sitcom comedy. Rules and techniques specific to comedy performance.
